The new German Kurdish Center of Culture
in Herne

Herne is a town in the middle of the industrial cistrict of Rhine and Ruhr. Our town is not well know to be an urgend center of culture. But, who knows...

...because a new German Kurdish Center of Culture will be establish in Herne, Werderstr. 53a.

Theater -performances in German and Kurdish language shall bring forward the understanding and excepting of different cultures.
Moreover them performances of music are planed.
The pictures above are showing the theater finished in the rough. You can image the dimensions of the project. The big hall you can see will be disposable for 500 to 1000 people.

 

 

 

The smaller room for ca. 250 people is suitable for private or comercial celebrations.

 

 


The founder of the theater, Hussein Ibrahim, is industrious by himself.

The group around Hussein Ibrahim is busy with a lot of activities and enthusiastics to save money for the renovation of the theater.The reconstruction of the old industrial - building is made

The theater will be probably opened in August 2003.
